FEBC to SOUTHEAST ASIA

FEBC’s first broadcasts went on the air on June 4, 1948 on local station KZAS in Manila, Philippines.

The ministry’s overseas broadcasts to China commenced on July 27, 1949 with the help of Chinese Filipino Christians … and soon expanded to other parts of Southeast Asia.  By the end of 1949, FEBC had 27 language-broadcasts on the air.
